Pre-launch pilot • Partner approval required

Turn eligible pawn and sale proceeds into digital spending power.

Pre-launch pilot concept — not currently available to the public.

Collateralize It is designing a controlled pilot that connects participating pawnshops with a regulated prepaid or virtual-card program—giving invited adult customers another way to receive eligible proceeds for online and card-only purchases.

The demo is an interactive concept only — nothing is applied for or processed.

Not a credit card. No new card debt. Availability and terms depend on program-partner and legal approval.

Who it serves

One controlled pilot, three perspectives

The pilot is scoped so each participant can evaluate the model on evidence rather than assumptions.

  • Customers

    Digital access

Invited adult customers may choose eligible proceeds in a reusable virtual or prepaid card account for eligible purchases.

  • Pawnshops

    A modern payout option

A potential way to improve service, reduce cash handling, and support more customer needs.

  • Program partners

    A controlled, auditable pilot

Scoped enrollment, transaction controls, and measurable operating evidence.

How it works

Five steps, each with a verifiable record

Every step in the planned flow produces documentation the shop and program partner can audit.

  1. 01

    Complete the transaction

Complete a normal pawn or sale transaction at a participating pilot shop.

  2. 02

    Choose digital proceeds

Choose the digital proceeds option, if eligible and available.

  3. 03

    Scan and enter your code

Scan the pilot QR code and enter an invitation code.

  4. 04

    Employee verification

A trained shop employee verifies the completed transaction and approves the eligible load.

  5. 05

    Receive the account

Receive a reusable virtual or prepaid account for eligible card purchases.

For a sale, the customer owes nothing after the sale. For a pawn, repayment and item redemption remain governed by the separate pawn agreement with the shop.

Pilot at a glance

Deliberately small, so the evidence is real

The pilot is sized to produce clear operating evidence before anything scales.

  • $20–$250

    Eligible load range

What success looks like

The pilot is evaluated against operating signals — not projections. No outcome is guaranteed, and results may lead to revising or stopping the model.

  • Customer completion
  • Approval speed
  • Repeat use
  • Support experience
  • Fraud and dispute performance
  • Shop willingness to continue
  • Viable written partner economics

For partners

What participation would involve

Roles are defined up front so each side can evaluate the pilot against its own requirements.

Pawnshop partners

The shop keeps running its normal business; the pilot adds a documented payout option.

  • Complete and document normal pawn or sale transactions.
  • Maintain a prefunded platform balance if approved for the pilot.
  • Train staff to verify eligible proceeds and approve loads.
  • Receive transaction, audit-log, and reconciliation support from the platform.
  • No selected shop transaction fee or monthly software fee at the planned pilot launch.

Final pricing and terms remain subject to written agreements and partner and legal approval.

Safeguards & support

Planned operating controls

These describe how the pilot is designed to operate — intent, not approval. Each control remains subject to program-partner and legal review.

  • Invitation-only enrollment, adults only, with employee approval on every eligible load.
  • Prefunded shop balance and auditable records for each transaction, approval, and reconciliation.
  • Verification, fraud, dispute, refund, lost-card, and data-security procedures must be partner-approved before launch.

Go/no-go gates

All seven gates must clear before any live pilot activity.

  • Customer evidence
  • Shop commitment
  • Program-partner approval
  • Legal review
  • Written economics
  • Risk procedures
  • Prototype validation

If any gate fails, the model is revised before launch.

Who we are

Transparent about our stage

We would rather under-claim than overstate. Here is exactly where the company and the pilot stand today.

  • What we are building

Collateralize It is an early-stage company designing a controlled pilot that would let participating pawnshops offer eligible transaction proceeds as a prepaid or virtual-card payout instead of cash only.

  • Who the pilot is for

The pilot is designed for one participating pawnshop and a small group of invited adult customers, plus operators and program partners evaluating whether the model works in practice.

  • What we depend on

Card issuing, account terms, and funds movement would be provided by regulated partners under written agreements. Those agreements are not in place today, so nothing on this site should be read as an existing partnership, licence, or approval.

We do not claim regulatory approval, certification, credit-building benefits, named partners, or customer traction. Any of those claims will appear here only once they are real and documented.
